Welcome to the Pelvic Organ Prolapse Course

In this introductory module, you'll build a strong foundation for understanding and managing pelvic organ prolapse. We'll start by unpacking exactly what prolapse is, exploring the common causes behind it, and identifying the factors that can make symptoms worse.

From there, we'll dive deeper into how your body works, with clear and simple lessons covering:

  • Anatomy of the Pelvic Floor: Learn how the muscles, ligaments, and connective tissues of your pelvic floor support your pelvic organs.

  • Bladder Function and Healthy Habits: Discover what’s normal for bladder and bowel function, and how small lifestyle adjustments can reduce strain on the pelvic floor.

  • The Role of Water Intake: Understand how hydration affects bladder and bowel health and why balance is key to supporting your pelvic floor.

  • Caffeine and Constipation: Learn how your daily habits, like coffee consumption and digestion, can impact prolapse symptoms and what you can do to help.

By the end of this module, you'll not only understand the "why" behind your symptoms but also feel empowered with practical, supportive steps to protect and improve your pelvic health.
